Just another weblog

About April 21, 2007

My name is Susan Sellers (aka Susie Mc), and I began my online ministry in the fall of 2004.  I write what I feel the Lord places on my heart to share each week.  I am grateful that the Lord has blessed me in this capacity to glorify Him in written words.  Please feel free to share comments as I post my messages.  In addition, I have provided several websites and links of interest on my blog roll. Chances are that you may see my posts on Facebook via my profile or posted on Christian Bloggers Network. If not, please request my friendship. My name on Facebook is “Susan Mullins Sellers” (Susie Mc).  Thank you for your support and encouragement–it means more than you know!

Smiles In Him,

Susie Mc “Sellers”

Your messages are always enjoyable, but today’s was especially inspirational. My daughter and son-in-law (Evelyn and Bo Coln) are regular attenders at Church of the Highlands and were making plans to join. Their careers are taking them to Huntsville, however, and today is a big day in that process. I am praying for them to find a church like yours in their area when they move. Church of the Highlands has been a wonderful worship home for them this past year.

    Be blessed!

  3. Susie,

A couple of mutual friends (and members at Church of The Highlands) referred me to your site…AWESOME!

As a fellow blogger, it always gives me a rush to find someone as bold in their faith as I am!

God bless you Susie. You are a light that shines!

  6. Susie,

My name is Jim Ed Clayton. I graduated from HTHS in 1978. Today, after years of “best laid plans” upon which I never acted, I decided to find my favorite high-school teacher, Mrs. Wilma Roby. On a lark, I thought I would start by Googling her name, not really expecting anything. To my surprise, I found your blog, and your February 8, 2009 post regarding Mrs. Roby. I would love to have her address so that I could drop her a letter to tell her how much I appreciate her and what an impact she has had upon my life. Would you please be so kind as to share her address with me? My e-mail address is, or you can reach me via facebook. Thank you very much.

    Hey Susie!
I have been getting your blog for months through a friend of mine, Jill Callaham. I wanted to tell you how much I have enjoyed your thoughts and your commitment to the writings.
I now have an online small group called! It has been so amazing so far! We focus on the One Year Bible. I would love for you to check it out and join if you are interested! Having ‘guest’ bloggers is always really cool too……whatever you think!
God is working in you and through you!
    Look today for His blessings!

i find it cool that the Lord knows the plans and purposes He has for you and He planned you to have your favorite verse come from JEREMIAH and He planned for you to be with JEREMY

    JEREMIAH – favorite verse
    JEREMY – favorite guy

I bet as clever as you are, you have already determined but i just thought this was another reminder that our GOD knows what HE is doing.

You know Hagan, that’s a great observation…but yes, you are right, I had thought about it! I have even called Jeremy – Jeremiah before. And, isn’t it SO GREAT that our GOD knows exactly every step we will take before we take it. It’s a wonderful confidence to know He knew every detail about our lives, before we were born, before He created the world. WOW, now that’s a cool thought! Thank you for your feedback, friendship, and encouragement. It means a lot! 🙂
