Psalm 63:2 (The Message)
So here I am in the place of worship, eyes open, drinking in your strength and glory. In your generous love I am really living at last! My lips brim praises like fountains. I bless you every time I take a breath; My arms wave like banners of praise to you.

You want a foretaste of heaven? Get lost in worship.
During this 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting at Church of the Highlands, I’ve discovered once again a heightened sense of the beautiful presence of God. I contribute that gift to my action of more passionate worship.
Isn’t it cool how a  worship song can say everything you wanted to say, but couldn’t find the words? When we worship, we are given the gift of “escape” from the worries of this world, and a reassurance of God’s Promise that He will never leave us, and He has a beautiful future in store. IF we would only surrender to the distractions and frustrations of this world and CHOOSE to get lost in Him — a sliver in that slice of His heaven would envelope us.  Max Lucado said it well regarding worship, “Just you, God, and a silent assurance that everything is right with the world.”
The following worship song has had an impact on me this first 13 days of prayer and fasting. I urge you to chew on the lyrics. We can stare at an imperfect world with uncomfortable circumstances, or we can focus on our Perfect Savior, Who provides unprecedented stability and comfort.
Listen and chew on the following lyrics…..
Father God,
Guide us to be consistent in authentic worship to YOU! Help us understand fully how your SPIRIT takes up residence in us in a profound capacity when we release any inhibitions to GO ALL OUT in TRUE WORSHIP to YOU. Allow our hearts to comprehend and recognize our complete dependence on YOU. YOU ARE WORTHY of ALL of our WORSHIP!
In Jesus Precious Name,
