I chose forgiveness so long ago and I just don't think people realize how precious a gift it is to let go of those burdens - my life is completely free of that terrible pain. Now, it's automatic, I forgive instantly. To do anything but that would be a slap in the face to HIM. FORGIVENESS is awesome! Such a special message.

To this day, I cringe every time I see a comma splice in a student's paper and whenever a student answers "I don't know", in response to a question. I keep wanting to say, "Yes, you do." I presented Mrs. Roby with a red rose when I graduated and told her that the red of the rose represents everyone of my papers that bled to death. Is she still alive? If so where is she? If you have contact information, I would love to contact her. I think of her all the time and am an Assistant Professor. I remember Roby. I think God is at the center. I compare time to a merrygoround in a play field from my childhood. God is at the center standing still as we rotate around the perimeter. The further from God the faster and more stressful life is...almost to the slinging us off the face of the earth. Move closer to God and things get quieter and calmer. Hugging God we sense how timeless He is and how timeless our lives and words can be. Everyone of course is far better next to God than they are far from him. Death of course is sleep and for a Christian we move to the center with God and into timelessness until Christ comes and we all reawake in a tight knit circle with Him.
